Highly recommend for family use! Easy setup! I’ve been using this printer for about 2 month, it works well. It only took me about 15 mins to setup, and everyone in the house can print on their own equipment through WiFi. Highly recommend!

Really Solid Monochrome Printer This is a really good monochrome printer. I needed something to print reports, invoices, checks, etc and this Brother has worked out great.
Disable Deep Sleep immediately As soon as you plug in the printer and the display reads Ready, Google search for some instructions (or look through the Amazon reviews) for turning off Deep Sleep, and then do that immediately before you begin any other setup process. I ran into trouble with my computer finding the printer device because in the few minutes it took for me to install the CD and get started, the printer went into Deep Sleep. Easy set up, works great So it turns out to be cheaper to buy a whole new printer than to buy a replacement toner cartridge for my old one. Aside from feeling mildly guilty for throwing away my otherwise perfectly good old printer, I have no regrets. This one set up quickly and works great.
Fantastic printer Prints fast, prints quiet, prints double-sided automatically, connects to Internet seamlessly. I needed this for the absurd amount of printing I do at school and so far it's been the answer to my dreams. Haven't changed the toner yet though, so we'll see how that goes.
Does its job well... I've had this printer for a little while now and I'm very happy with it. I've had no problems and it's definitely worth the price. I love that I don't have to keep buying cartridges as often as I do with ink jet printers.
