Great little wireless printer Bought this to upgrade from an old HL-5250DN from 2005 on its last leg (pages came out covered in dots/smudges/lines). The hardest part of setting it up was typing in the SSID passcode because you have to hit the up/down keys for each character (starting with 0-9, then a-z, and A-Z). Deep Sleep Don't forget to turn Deep Sleep off or your life will be miserable. Other than that is ok.
Favorite printer ever I had an older one of these for years. It’s a work horse and still works but I wanted one I could easily print from my phone or iPad. The setup took less than ten minutes and now I just hit AirPrint from my phone it quickly prints everything I need. In my experience, these printers don’t have the normal planned obsolescence the others do and I haven’t had a single issue with my other one. Cartridges are easy to find and affordable too.
Best wireless printer This model has auto 2sides printing. Great value I wish I could have it sooner :) Fast printing small space needed. Fit for apartment, dorm home office. Has an app link with phone or printing from computer/laptop wireless. Own it about a month now. Happy purchasing.
Great printer So far great printer!
Brother makes good products Wireless set-up can be a chore, but Brother printers, MFPs, faxes are all good products in my book. The HL-L 2350dw is still in the box at my brother's house, but my HL-L2340dw has served me well for years I can print from my cell phone, tablet, laptop, desktop with ease. Excellent B/W print quality; duplexing saves a lot of paper; compact and unobtrusive; wireless puts the printer in a place convenient to all. Outstanding This printer was an excellent price. It makes excellent copies very quickly and it’s very quiet.
Noisy in standard mode, but quiet in quiet mode This unit is very noisy where others have reported it quiet. The quiet mode slows down the print speed, but then the unit is very quiet. Not sure I got a good unit for higher speed. It made a rumble sound that could be heard throughout the house. I am ok with the slower speed as long as I don't need to print a lot of pages. Good pre-written tech support instructions for changing the mode. I can't rate tech support higher as I haven't tried to talk to anyone. I will keep the box... read more
