Perfect! I use a Linux OS (Ubuntu distro--and it's waaaay behind-hopefully when I do update it will still work fine)! My son figured out how connect the printer to the internet, and everything ... just ... works!!! I didn't have to download or anything!
Printer works as advertised but hardly any ink was included! I would have given the seller four stars except for the fact that the ink cartridge they sent did not last the copying of 10 pages. I had to order another cartridge from a separate seller.
Can’t Go Wrong with this printer Best Setup ever on 7 year old Mac laptop. All wireless. Make sure to follow the clear cut instruction on big form provided. I don’t have cd rom for disk install but easy product software download from brother website. Just goggle “brother printer software” . As long as your product are on same WiFi router then they all work well. I usually don’t write reviews but this process was satisfying and worked perfect!! Thanks amazon for quick delivery.
Fast but where is the toner ink? This is a brand new printer and after 10 great pages the print has lightened up as though the printer is out of ink. This did not get better after shaking and rocking the toner cartridge many difficult times. This is disappointing. I ordered a new toner cartridge and hopefully this will solve the problem. The printer looks nice, funtions well, prints fast on both sides of the paper, preset. I just wish they gave you more toner as a new printer.

Great printer at a very good price I bought this to replace a wired HP LaserJet 1300 Series printer I've had for more than 10 years. This printer is wireless and works with my cellphone!! It prints more than 15 high quality laser pages a minute, cost less than a comparable HP printer and I could not be more happy.
Good value for the price. 2 sided printing is very helpful. A good wireless B&W printer.
