Great customer service, but I miss the old Bark n Purr. Hollywood feed is more dog centric and leaves cats totally out in the cold with all advertisements and specials. it feels like I shouldn’t be shopping for my cats there. do you guys hate cats?

I have been going to Bark and Purr since 1973 for all my dogs needs. Since Hollywood Feed has taken it over there has been a steep decline in customer service by some staff bordering on rudeness. There are few people in the store these days so staff are not busy but several don’t want to help you at all. Very sad to see the favorite local neighborhood pet store for decades go downhill so quickly after being taken over by a chain. I now only go there as a last resort.
