I asked about the walking surface and they did not tell me there are small ribs on the walking surfaces. Did not notice until my dog walked on it. Will contact them next week. After their explanation, it makes sense.
I was given an incorrect value for my initial quote and was surprised at the difference in value once the corrected quote was received. However, once requested, the company quickly agreed to send me picture of the item that was accidentally selected to use in the initial quote and a picture of the item the company rep and I thought was selected and agreed upon. The gentleman that did my work was friendly. The price for what work was done was extremely overpriced.
We had to wait 2 weeks before they installed the a railing and they kept giving the run around as to why it took so long. Originally, when the guy came out he left us with the impression that it would take 1 week. This was just a very simple one railing piece of metal for one step. We had used them before (several years ago) and had been very happy. We were definitely not happy this time and did not appreciate being given a bunch of garbage as to why they couldn't get their act together!

Custom fabrication of a steel railing and powder coating with both a primer and finish coat and returning to perform the installation typically takes 1 to 2 weeks from the time of ordering which we inform our clients of upfront. If it is a rush situation, we can sometimes expedite things. We regret that it required two weeks for this client as it sounds like they needed it sooner.
