This is my first time here since it has been Hooky. I would say if you're not ready to open and start doing business, then don't open yet. Not having any of the typical foods that theaters have nowadays and only having seriously over priced candy, popcorn, and drinks is insane. No icees, hotdogs, nachos, pretzels, or anything like that is not acceptable in 2025. Showbiz was great, EVO was great, and I don't know what the deal is now. What can improve? Really? The only "food" is popcorn and soft drinks! We have been at the Waxahachie location twice in the last month and there is no food! This is ridiculous. Of course you don't know this until after you get to the movie theater!! We won't be back. We will go to Red Oak or Mansfield indtead!

How can you have a movie theater with no hot dogs or nachos? Positive would be free refills on drinks and popcorn.

Showbiz Cinema was a favorite of the community so the customer base is there. EVO Entertainment took over adding a bowling alley, gaming, and upgrading the large theater to IMAX. EVO closed and now the location owned by Hooky Entertainment. This place could easily return to its original glory. I want to like it but it's not happening. This is my third visit to Hooky.
