The room I was in ( the Victorian) was worn-out and shabby looking.When I told the front desk they said "Oh I know, I stayed in one of them But it'll be renovated within the next year". To late for me.
So many things to like w/unique activities and fun everywhere you look. Ocean as the backdrop, Christmas decorations & trees everywhere, bars, restaurants and fire pits all over! We love this place! Hope to be back soon!

The grounds and activities were amazing. But the experience was not worth the cost. We knew the cost was high to start with but we decided to splurge. However the numerous add-on fees to our final bill, the exorbitant prices of food and drink ($90 for a $20 bottle of wine, $250 per person for Thanksgiving lunch!), creaking floors and dirty carpet, all made the experience disappointing. Love the history of the hotel. I love to stay in the old Victorian part of hotel. They are renovating the rooms which definitely need it but it will take time. Love it is on the beach and close to other restaurants and shops

I checked in for two days at the View Rooms they were great clean, spacious, and great ocean view.
