Great location and access to the beach. Enjoyable stay at a historic hotel with many shopping and dining options available. Our room did need some updates as the wall paper was stained and walls had chipped paint throughout. The age of hotel was most noticeable in the room. Service was average as our housekeeping service would never remember to bring enough towels for the number of guests in our room. They also just forgot to come one of the days. Lovely tower room, great view but all food and drink prices on-site are so high.

The grounds and the outside of the hotel is simply amazing. The amenities are wonderful and the staff is courteous and very helpful. The hotel room is where it lacks. To my understanding the hotel had a remodel in 2019. The rooms look tired and dated with dirty carpet, peeling wallpaper and worn furniture. The hallway carpet and walls were stained as well. Something you wouldn’t expect from a 5 star hotel
