I was referred by my opthalmologist and seen within 24 hours. The doctors at Illinois Retina Assoc. were thorough and explained everything in ways I understood. The laser treatment, though awkward, was done with minimal discomfort, and would recommend them to anyone I know.
Everyone professional & courteous - did not understand however why it took 5 different people to see mefor one spot on my eye - & then get a call that I need to go to yet another doc (7 in all including referring doc) for another test - seems like an unnecessarily long food chain - referring doc or this specialist should have been able to complete the exam.
It was overall a pleasant experience.
Everything was seamless.
