First time; I read is overall reviews; his staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm pleased with Dr. Civantos. He is friendly, explains to you what he is doing and making sure you understand his findings. For me, I had a Great report!! Thanks.

Always a great experience seeing Dr. Civantos. He is friendly, on time, answers any questions, and you don't feel rushed as a patient. The staff is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable at the Harvey location.

Dr. Civantos at Illinois Retinal Associates is an outstanding doctor. His knowledge, interactions with patients, and ability to explain the details of a diagnosis are exemplary. He is one of the best physicians I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend him for your retinal care needs.

Dr. Civantos & his staff are absolutely awesome! From the first phone call in Joliet to walking into the Hinsdale office the following day. I was an absolute basket case & full of nerves when Dr. Civantos said I had a tear in my retina & would need a laser procedure right away. The medical assistant was great calming me down before they started & all through out. Dr. Civantos explaining everything that he was doing during the procedure. I became a patient of Dr Civantos four years ago. I was referred by a different type of eye doctor that did not treat my problem. That individual gave me a very bleak opinion of my condition. Dr Civantos stabilized my issues. He was very informative when explaining things and always gave a thorough answer on any questions that I had.

I have been a patient at the Oak Brook facility several times in the past, but this is the first time I was scheduled with Dr. Civantos. As always the staff and pleasant and professional. From the time you walk in to the time you leave every staff member treats you as if your family. Very caring, considerate, welcoming and compassionate. Dr. Civantos is thorough, pleasant, informative and listens. He is not rushed; he answers questions in a manner which can be understood and, if needed, gives treatment options.
