Dr. MacCumber is always informative and is very caring. His staff is great- The wait time is long but Dr. MacCumber is worth the wait he is always looking out for what is best for you

Dr. MacCumber and his associates have been my care team for a decade. They're the best! My recent visit was an emergency. I knew that I had a possible vitreous detachment or worse. I was seen the day prior by a retina specialist at a hospital not affliated with Rush Medical Center. I was told that I was having a migraine and that my eye was healthy. 24 hours later I was in Dr. MacCumber's exam room diagnosed with a complete vitreous detachment. He and his team are VERY thorough and compassionate.

discussed new treatment for my condition. after more sophisticated diagnostic was done, he explained while showing me the images, why the proposed treatment was unlikely to improve my my vision. he fully explained the pro and cons of treatment now and together we decided to hold off.

He is a Great doctor and always provides exceptional care.The office is usually busy, but always moving at a quick pace.Multiple steps are required to do a complete exam.He always answers all questions and provides sound advice.I have recommended him to friends and family.
Seeing the doctor was no problem. But the extreme long wait is. Schedule visits so I don't have to wait an hour and a half to see him.
