We took a spare of the moment trip and came across this place. We stayed at Hotel Colorado and the big pool is right across the street but I chose to come here instead and glad we did. The only thing that would make it better would be to put something up to hide the traffic on the other side. Not the river but the ugliness of traffic, broken trains and construction.

Business response:

Hi Sandy ? We?re glad you chose to visit Iron Mountain Hot Springs. We work hard to make our property as beautiful and inviting for guests as we can. Unfortunately, some things like landscaping on the railroad property are out of our control. I hope during your visit you were able to enjoy the surrounding beauty including Mt. Sopris to the south, Red Mountain directly across, and the Colorado River. Thank you for leaving us a review; we look forward to seeing you again.

I changed my mind last minute to try here instead of the 2 massive pool one. The extra $3.50/person was worth every penny. Spa like shower/changing area. Station to refill water bottles. Separate pool area for kids. Many choices for adults. I would suggest going when they first open. We went back in the evening and it was a bit crowded in the hot tubs (a Friday night)
