It was a safe place to sleep and take a shower beyond that not much to it. I was there for an evening funeral they REFUSED to even consider letting me check in at 3pm to get dressed even after I explained the circumstances. No iron in room and and toilet did not appear to have been cleaned well.
Weekend getaway Staff are awesome. Super friendly and helpful. Room needs a good clean. Had cobwebs in bathroom and had to squish a couple bugs. Only 1 trash can in bathroom. Someones fake nail was on the floor on arrival. Old school hotel AC unit did not work great. Soda machines in hotel that have soda do not work. Other ones empty. Food was good. Casino was fun. The staff is phenomenal. The property was somewhat disappointing. We had to cut our stay short because of unforeseen circumstances, but will probably not go back.
I asked for a room where I didn’t have to climb stairs , they had an elevator so no problems. But from where we had to park and where our room was was probably 1/2 a mile . My knees do not like to walk much less carrying luggage that far . The carpeting in the room was dirty and matted . The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner knob was broke but it worked great. All in all I would recommend this hotel again . The security is wonderful no one is getting in the hotel without a room key .
