I didn’t like that we had to valet at the main entrance but the hotel we stayed in was a good walk away. Also, should have been more careful before booking because we were expecting to have a microwave and fridge in the room. I’ve never booked a room w/out but now I know. Water was lukewarm(very disappointing). Finally, at 12:30 am, we were awakened by someone trying to get into our room with a key that unlocked our door. The hotel room was amazing! We paid $95 for a really cool suite. It had a separate living room and it was very clean. When we walked through the hotel, some of the staff was nice (a few) but most were cruel, my husband and I are an interracial couple (I’m black and he’s white) and the staff made it clear that they didn’t like that. We heard comments like, I like my men like my coffee, all black, people kept shaking their heads at us and making comments to their work friends. Well i booked Friday night until Monday evening but they only had me down until Sunday . So my trip was cut short . The property was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi didn't work half the time. Overall i enjoyed the solitude.
