This storage facility is amazing and the staff is so friendly! The lobby looks / feels like a hotel lobby and the whole place is very well-lit and secure. Highly recommend!!
Love Proguard! Top notch well designed facility with extremely friendly staff and a really cool front lobby with free water/refreshments. Very clean and secure, with well-lit hallways and music playing in the background when you walk to your unit which is cool. Their locks are also much higher quality than other places I have used to store. Their carts were also very helpful when I moved in and the manager stayed late to show me the storage unit I wanted to rent. Thanks Proguard for a great experience!
Terrible company. Office person is seldom in office during regular office hours. They have over doubled the rent in 4 years. Don't rent here. Find another place.

This is for the whole company not a specific storage facility. They pull you in with a reasonably priced unit but then raise the price $50 every 3 months. Even though the price online is $100 less than what you are paying. Seems very unethical and shady. They also are know as NSA storage .

Terrible company, always trying to find a way to get more money out of you. Raised my rent every 6 months. Ended up paying double what I started with. Will not do business with them again.

Terrible place and employees, reserved a unit to move in on 05/22/2025 and in order to reserve the unit you have to put your credit card info, why do I get charged on the day of making the reservation 05/15/2025 when I chose move in day 0/5/22??!! Called to either get that portion back or cancel my whole reservation and after 3 useless employees I get told "the policy" they can't do either!! no where in their lease agreement said anything about wrongful credit card charge no other place does that, when you reserve somethin... read more
The facility is nice but they keep raising the rent and they charge your renters insurance without letting you know. I called the company that does the insurance and it looks like the storage place wasn't even keeping up with the payments. So they are just pocketing the money. What a scam.
Since the company has been bought out by iStorage (owned by a public traded company) the place has become a dump! They cut cost by raising the temperature in the buildings (85 degrees +). It's not climate controlled so don't waste your money if that's what you think your needs are! We'll be moving out after 15 yrs as a dedicated customer.
All is well God see all, i ask to downsized due to change in employment status, management says the price would be at least 50 dolars less so i took it after months rent raised back up to 10 dollars less than what I was already paying . Beware of the scam tricks and lame excuses they give to get you in because their aim is to raising the rent so you could either transfer or move out. I'm grateful God is in control. This location is in Houston TX near the Texas medical center off Alameda and OST.
