istorage pricing practices are fraudulent. I was charged from the date I made the reservation not the date I reserved it for. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact them with no response. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, which they did not respond to. Theit management is either shoddy or fraudulent. Buyer beware.

Pathetic. First, this business was sold last year and is no longer called Pro-Guard. **Looking at the dates shown here, the good ratings you see here are from the time of previous owners.** It now belongs to the chain store iStorage, which thinks they can run mini-storage like an Air-bnb out of an apartment complex somewhere. Trouble is, they then RAISED RATES A LOT rather than selling anything cheaper, and everything else they provide is DOWNGRADED. Customer service now is almost nonexistent. Do not store your belongings here. I had the unit a week before I got all my belongings burglarized. The company did nothing.

A mistake was made and I was signed up for a second unit I didn't know about and was charged for it from May 2022 through December 2022. When the mistake was discovered in the fall, and ACKNOWLEDGED BY MANAGEMENT, multiple attempts were made by me both in store and via telephone (once via telephone IN the lobby because the guy on hand wouldn't pick up the phone himself and then threatened to call the police to remove me and my three year old from his lobby) to correct the problem and, to date, they still owe me almost $1000.... read more

We used to really like this facility. The owners were very nice and responsive. Since iStorage has taken over it's gone downhill. The halls are dirty. They don't have any trash can out so people seem to be just throwing their trash on the floors. Their prices have gone up and don't email the bill until after it's late and they've tacked on a $10 fee.

We have been storing goods here for the past two years. They recently changed management to a company named IStorage. They have cut the staff to a single person on duty. The place has become filthy and cluttered. One of the elevator lobbies smelled like here was a dead animal nearby. Such a shame as this used to be a good place. I wouldn't do any new business here and look forward to when I can get our possessions out of this place.

I was with Proguard for 3 or 4 years before they sold to I Storage... I am giving negative stars because 1 is too much! Nothing but problems since! first I went to re register my card with them when they took over and they claimed my unit was empty... We went to look and it was full! Left my info and then came back in a few weeks to get something and I am locked out.. asked the front desk what was going on and again my unit is empty! figured it out after verifying again.. I had a terrible experience. If I could, I would give 0 stars. The man and wife who runs this place broke their own contract 2x's then tried really hard not to take accountability for it. On top of that, instead of admitting they messed up, they accused me of wanting money as compensation. I never once mentioned compensation. I was looking for an admittance of fault and to know exactly what happened. The facility is excellent with good security. Unfortunately the facility has no backup generator, so if there are items you need from your storage unit when there is a storm in the gulf or an ice storm is on the way.....you better get them ahead of time. But that is not the main reason for only two stars. We were struggling to finish emptying out the last of our two units during a month when my 89 year old father had a malignant brain tumor removed and my wife's parents were relocating in assisted living facilities.
