RecommendedI can only give 5 stars?! I would like to give at LEAST 10! They go above and beyong to take care of your furbabies as well as you. The whole staff is amazing, wonderful, heartfelt, and genuine. I am so glad that we have found out home here in Ithaca and that this is the place I can take my furchildren to. Ordered Heartworm medicine from Chewy. They wouldn’t approve the prescription unless I paid an extra $10 charge to them for a prescription fee because I didn’t use their online pharmacy??
Our physical exam price went from $25 in 2022, to $35 WITH VACCINE in 2023…. To $60 JUST for the exam in January 2025. We understand needing to update prices but our bill was literally the same for 3 dogs in 2022 as it was for 1 dog in 2025… without notice of increase.
I have been taking my babies to this vet for years and I have a German shepherd with a Herniated belly button. I called to get an appointment to get it fixed and they refused without getting her fixed as well, because they believe there are to many puppies in this world and don't need any more until shelters are empty. who is he to tell me what to do with my baby. I went to this office for over 25 years. Once it was sold the owners the quality of service and the care for the animals. Horrible! Last year I tried to get my cat in for a UTI. They would not see her for two weeks. That is not something that you wait for two weeks. Then today I called today cuz my cat got into poison. It was very sick. Said it would be 6 days before they could see her. I told them she will be dead before then and the response was OK. Let us know if you change your mind. I called to make an appointment to get my older kitty put down so she wouldn’t be suffering anymore and they told me they were booked till the end of July, if I wanted to get put on the emergency list and pay an extra $75 on top of the fee to get her put down I could, but obviously I can’t wait for all of that. The vet that used to own this place was way more kind and understanding when it came to this kind of stuff, needless to say I’ll be finding a new vet.
