Wow. First time in Austin and was recommended this place. Loved everything about it: attention to detail, service, food was incredible, and the place looked very nice inside. Will definitely be back! Also Francisco was great, helpful and friendly. I think he was the GM

We came into town to celebrate our daughters birthday (She is a big Texas fan) & also to run the half marathon. We have eaten at a multitude of nice steak restaurants.. this one was top notch. Their customer service was over the top. They made my daughter feel so special for her birthday- with a balloon and a HUGE cake with sparklers. The steak was excellent. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. When we return to Austin for another visit- we will definitely be back!

A group of 5 of us were out to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We scoured every steakhouse menu and were impressed with J. Prime’s and thought we’d give it a try. The atmosphere was very different from other steakhouses, I was impressed. Inside is very modern (couldn’t tell it used to be an Uncle Julio’s!), brighter than your traditional steakhouse and an overall fun, upbeat feel.
