You have to try J-Prime. You’re going to love it. The food is truly delectable. The service is impeccable, the surroundings are beautiful. We went for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We all loved the experience from beginning to end, which actually ended with a warm, damp hand towel to wipe your hands on. We will definitely be back.
Came to Austin from NJ on a business trip and by chance happened to walk by J-Prime Steakhouse. I proceeded to have probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. The food was phenomenal with many free samples during the course of the meal. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sizes of everything were very generous. To top it off we had an amazing waiter and the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place more. I wish we had one in New Jersey. Worth every penny!
Every part of our experience was great! The steak was fantastic - we got the wagyu sampler for 2 and it was plenty to share and take some home. Drinks were great and the drink menu was fairly creative. Our server Hunter was fantastic and really went above and beyond to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves! I would definitely come back if I am ever in Austin again.
The visit was very pleasurable. The good was really good and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Outstanding service, great food. Prices about what you would expect for a upper end steak house. Moderate noise level which allowed easy converstaions with the other dinners. Perhaps the outstanding part of the evening was the service. Starting with the bar staff and continuing thoughout the evening the wait staff was attentive, polite and proactive in taking care of the dinners.
My ribeye was a poor quality steak. Wife’s filet was good. Very expensive. 17.00 for a baked potato. Been to a lot better. Manager comped ribeye and gave me a gift certificate to try again. Will try again with gift certificate.
