The best dining experience I have ever had. Francisco and Timothy were phenomenal. They had wonderful recommendations and made you feel like the only customers at the restaurant. The drinks, appetizers, palette cleansers, entrees and desert were incredible. Will be back again.
Good: Wagyu ny strip and filet were amazing, and cooked perfectly. Creamy potatoes were so good! The bone marrow was the best I’ve ever had. The blackberry mock tail was delicious. Ambience was wonderful and the attention to detail was fantastic. Opportunities: the peaches in the burrata were hard but the burrata was good in general. I have been to all the fine steakhouse restaurants in Austin and some notable ones in other cities. J Prime was the best experience I’ve had yet and I don’t write reviews nearly ever. But from their service to their food everything was exceptional. Our server never wrote a single thing down and didn’t make a mistake once. Very accommodating. Great food and staff! We had a great time!
My wife ordered the 8 oz filet - medium well, it arrived in extremely well done, we asked them to make another and the waiter and staff were extremely accommodating. Unfortunately we think maybe the kitchen was not made aware of the priority. It took more then 30 minutes for her corrected steak to arrive and by that time everyone else had finished. Again the staff was extremely gracious and kept giving us updates- “just a few more minutes” - and then they compensated us with multiple free deserts and removed the cost of the ... read more

We enjoyed our evening very much. Our granddaughter wad celebrating her ballet performance. It was a great night.
