A group of 5 of us were out to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We scoured every steakhouse menu and were impressed with J. Prime’s and thought we’d give it a try. The atmosphere was very different from other steakhouses, I was impressed. Inside is very modern (couldn’t tell it used to be an Uncle Julio’s!), brighter than your traditional steakhouse and an overall fun, upbeat feel. The restaurant does have a bit of a feel of a club but comes with very attentive service and the food was great. A DJ was working the bar area. Nice decor. Every employee greeted us and truly seemed happy to accommodate us
The dining experience was very unique as it was our anniversary they had a little notecard out for us with a rose which was very seeet.overall very noisy club music for fine dining was just not it gave me a headache bar connected to the restaurant was very loud . Service was incredible though very on point.
First time eating here. Very great service and ambience. We asked for medium on our steaks and they were well done. It was very busy as our drinks were taking a very long time so we did not want to wait for returning our steaks and waiting a long time for new ones. Not sure if we will return as there are better steak houses in Austin based on our experience here. Keep up the great work on the service! Our servers were great! Over all I would give 4 out of 5 stars.
The wagyu sampler was phenomenal! Link was our server and he was top-notch. Best steakhouse…ever.
Absolutely loved everything about this establishment. Food, service, cleanliness, etc were top notch. Will definitely be back.
