We had a very rough start with another loan officer. We then were reassigned to Jaime and she saved our whole experience! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She just helped us feel calm in our decision making. She always responded and was there when we needed her.

From a client POV’s Jaime was very nice and easy going at first. She answered all our questions but a business day after, which can get a bit frustrating. Towards the end when we’re supposed to be closing on the day before we’ve reached out to her to see what else she needs to give us a more accurate of the closing cost, she took it very by surprised. Lot of communication gap between the builder/design studio and loans No proper process or the client is made aware of the process. We went with KB home loans as to have proper communication and looks like they are totally disconnected

When you tell us we are "clear to close" you should tell us exactly what that means to KBHS and to the customer. Also, instead of working in the best interest of their bottom line KBHS should focus more on the best interest of their customers. As an example, KBHS telephoned me when my DTI rose above 50% and presented me with options to move the loan forward. However, earlier, when it rose above 45%, I received no such courtesy from KBHS nor was I told going above 45% would increase my PMI. It was just buried in one of the nu... read more

When asked to send in documentation I was prompt in getting them to the processor/loan officer the same day. We were asked to provide the same documents more than once (same paystubs from same period, bank statements from same time frame). We were asked to pay for the appraisal up front on a purchase which I never heard of (only on a refinance have we paid up front) received an email acknowledging the receipt of the payment for the appraisal, then was charged again at the close.

I have to highly compliment the person who was most helpful to us, and that is the construction Manager, Bricio!!! He was very professional, helpful and friendly to say the very least. From the beginning Bricio has walked us through every step of the installation process, which is extremely critical. For example, he gave us the option to make some changes and additions that we really needed in a timely fashion. Running out of space here.. Bricio is simply the Best and needs to be commended!!!
