I was surprised how easy this process really was! I have put this off for months. So glad I inquired online! Everyone was knowledgeable and kept me in the loop through everything. Thanks again for everyone's help!

There were a few issues with the closing documents all the way up to the moment I signed. Jamie did his best to explain what was going on. Closing took about 90 days which was a bit more time than quoted by Kristen, but all was communicated in due time.
It was a pleasure to work with Jamie on this refinance . Everything was done by phone or by eamail. Very confinient not to have to go to an office. This was the fastest and best organized refinancing. Thank you Penny Mac.
First, I want to say that dealing with the actual people that I delt with, Amelia Stratton and Jamie Wright, were wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and they tried hard! The process got muddied I'm sure because of Covid-19 and I do get that. BUT, the process was started back in late March/early April and it took until now to complete and fund the loan. In trying to write my experience, your site won't even let me finish without running out of words. THIS IS ANOTHER PROBLEM, AS I CAN'T FIN
Mar. 30, app was filled out and closing scheduled for May 30. Everything was good until the closing. Communication was good until a wk before 6/1. The deed docs arrived on 5/18 & sat at Title company for 3wks but I didn't receive a call until 5/23 about Title company not receiving docs yet; I called /emailed several times for a week w/no response. I finally requested a manager 6/1. I'm anticipating late charges since loan funded 6/16; payments are late after the 15th. :(
Not only was Penny Mac able to beat the other two loan estimates I received but they were able to make the process so easy. Any question I had was promptly answered in a professional way. I am shocked how easy and quickly the loan was completed. Jamie Write and Anthony Soto are the best in the business. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Penny Mac
Plenty of things, I cannot even think how to express my frustrations with this refinance process. Probably my next refinance won't be with PennyMac.
