The perfect substitution for a Compool actuator, for a lot less. One of my Compool Actuators was acting up (not closing or opening upon activation, randomly), resulting in an improper closure and draining my spa (yikes). My pool service technician recommended replacing it with a Jandy. So I looked into it, spoke to a Jandy technical service engineer and got a green light. Fast service and easy DIY job. Simple DIY replacement. Just take off the old one and replace it with this new one. It’s an exact fit. Then run the new wire up inside the control box and plug it in where the old one was. Works perfectly. Pool company wanted $350 to replace it ($250 for same part). Takes about 15 minutes.
