I do recommend this valve Very well made, works as described, I would buy it again. I do recommend this valve, no grease ports, and easy to maintain.
Great valve This is a neat little 3 way valve. I highly prefer it over ball valves, because ball valves tend to be very narrow in the middle causing resistance, but this valve opens very wide. Also, because it was not clear when I bought it, ALL 3 OPENINGS ARE 2". You can put 2" PVC pipe into each opening. The reference to 2.5" just means it also supports 2.5" inch pipe, by slipping the pipe on the outside of the valve. The valve is sealed with an "O" ring and is easy to reassemble The valve works smoothly and can be disassembled to change which ports are used for the inlet or outlets. The markings on the valve can be confusing when a side port is used for an inlet are required as was in case for my installations. I suggest that you disassemble the valve so that you can see the gate position and mark the ports accordingly before running water through it. Great replacement Great replacement for my leaking valve, which was well over ten years old. I just replaced the innards of my old valve with the new parts. Works great.And a much better price than the pool store.
