Deducted 50% of refund for "restocking" fee for a DEFECTIVE pool vacuum!!! The WIFI on this vacuum did not work, no matter how close we placed the unit to the router. The item was returned and Seller deducted half of the order amount for a "restocking" fee. So if you order and receive a vacuum that has a defective WIFI, it's probably because the seller resold a defective item. Beware!
Didn't really climb walls and fine dirt shoots back out I was excited to have a newer Dolphin to replace the old one. When this one came, I unboxed and immediately put it to work. To my horror, as it made its way across the pool I could see the dirt and sand that it had picked up was shooting straight out the top of the dolphin. Wont connect to wi fi. Will not connect to my network. Worked with tech support a couple times. They sent me a new power supply which has the network controller inside. Same result. Tech support said the power supply has to be closer to the wireless router. I had it 17' away and still wouldnt connect. So, unless your pool is inside your home you will not be able to connect it to wifi with the app. If you dont connect to wifi you cannot control anything with the cleaner. Beware -- does a teerible job on floors and constantly stuck The media could not be loaded. It worked well for a year and DIED. With a two year wArrenty from manufacture. We drive it to Atlanta to get it repaired …. It came back quickly, but the. Got a red circle after 15 min running and stopped. We returned again …. Warranty does not cover freight cost Worked well for 2 summers and then starts to work, but shuts down after a minute. Still have a year on the warranty, but I have to pay shipping, $150, to the repair center in Georgia.
Do not buy from this vendor. I was sent a defective product that did not function as described and as a result was denied a refund. Do not recommend buying from this vendor.
Initially great but doesn’t last Our Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus worked great for the first two years. We even replaced a few parts due to normal wear and tear. Then the tracks started coming off several times a day. We took it to an authorized service center, and it sat there for three months waiting on parts.When we finally got it back, the tracks stayed on—but now it only cleans one small section of the pool. Bad quality pool cleaner, do not purchase. This cleaner was great for the first couple of months and then it started setting stuck all the time on bottom drains or walls and then stopped moving at all, in about 4-6 months max. This is an awful expensive vacuum for a six month life. I put the treads back on the tracks multiple times but they stretched out so bad they now fall off I. 60 seconds or less. 2 Broken Dolphins and a Warranty that Costs You Money It works great, much better than our previous Dolphin. HOWEVER, the previous Dolphin lasted 2.5 years and then stopped working. We decided to buy another one (a more expensive one) instead of getting that one fixed. Less than 4 months later this one stopped working.
