Dr. Patel performed emergency exploratory surgery on my wife 6/10/25 and literally saved her life. She was Care Flight transferred to Medical City Fort Worth from Medical City Weatherford after being there since 6/6/25. Dr. Patel is a greet surgeon, very personable, knowledgeable and professional. I have been a patient for almost 8 years and he has performed 3 surgeries on me, all very successful. I have referred him to several who also liked him and had great results. I highly recommend him and his staff.
Dr. Patel is very informative and personable. I've lost 50 pounds in 2 months with my weight loss surgery. I can reach my protein and fluid goals with ease. I don't feel sick or nauseous constantly. I'm doing great! His staff is awesome as well.
I love these Dr. Jay Patel an Amanda and the staff. These surgeons are Awesome and have changed my life for the better just when i was about to give up on life due to me having so many illnesses .. yes it was a little bumpy at first but now i am great. And the staff are loving an caring also...
I was referred to Dr. Patel by two of my patients. I have been in the nursing field and patient referrals go a long way. I asked my own doctor (my employer) what he thought about me having surgery for weight loss and he thought that it was a good idea with my health issues and habits but he insisted that I look and listen for a few things during my initial visit. I did!! I reported back to my doctor and he responded that it sounded like a doctor that knew what he was doing. WELL, HE DOES!!!

Dr. Patel has a very good bedside manner with his patients. His staff is very professional if I have to leave a message they will call right back. Most times they are available. He gave my husband his life back. If you follow all of his instructions it doesn't take long for surgery. Apart from the wait for insurance approving the procedure and finding a doctor the process wasn't long and drawn out. This tool has helped my husband tremendously.
