I have a rare condition called Achalasia. Dr patel did a heller myotomy on me. He told me he had done this surgery 3 times. Normally I would have been very nervous but Dr patel had my trust immediately. Anyway I had the surgery and everything went 100% perfect. Dr patel is a amazing Dr. I highly highly recommend him for any surgical needs you may have. His staff is also just as amazing.
My experience with Dr.Jay Patel was amazing. His staff at the office & hospital was so greatly attentive to my well-being and personal needs before & after my gastric sleeve surgery. I was released this past Thursday and they paid uber driver to get me home safely.?? Thank you to all the staff that operates under Dr.Patel orders. They were very good,sweet and so very professional in the care of my needs after surgery. I'm on my new journey now to a better weight loss life.
Loved this surgeon... he was very attentive to my needs. I had a Gastric Sleeve done on March 16, 2016 and I have done wonderful. He was with me every step of the way and is most encouraging. I was quite impressed with him and his staff is awesome! I highly recommend Dr. Jay Patel.
Dr Patel was the surgeon for my appendectomy on tuesday.procedure went well.he did a wonderful job and was very friendly and comforting. Would definitely recommend!
In 2022, he performed surgery on me. I contacted him on the following Saturday when he was on call. My incision was not healing. He told me to just place a new gauze on the cut. The cut became infected and I eventually went back into the hospital.
I cannot eat over 90% of the foods that I used to. I have had three surgeries to fix the damage he did and am facing a fourth one now.
Forced to revise this....Every Morning I wake up in pain ranging from menstrual cramps to Active Labor. Medical City Hospital gave me all of my money back. This surgery did not help me to lose weight. I was only able to do it through extremes dietary restrictions. Every meal is a painful experience for me. DO NOT let Jay Patel touch anyone that you care about.
Over an hr wait just to get taken to a room, then told there were 3 patients waiting before me. Office stunk! No one wearing masks, not even staff! It’s flu season!!! Plus had to pay to park!!! Wouldn’t recommend.
