Run away from Dr Rigsby. Poor knowledge of prescription of Gabapentin caused my senior to get worse, cause him dementia, poop in his sleep, and to be disoriented and get lost. I felt so bad I was making him worse from the bad non FDA approved for dogs the drug Gabapentin. I immediately took him off and he got back to his normal self. I brought my cat in after adoption and ended up paying a couple hundred dollars for services that HE didn't even need. I received email after email of promotions, even after requesting to be taken off of the list. THEN to add the cherry on top of everything in the middle of a world wide health and economic pandemic you call me trying to get me to come in saying my cat needs shots... Oh and you referred my cat by the wrong sex and name. I now know why my parents stopped taking our animals to you when I was younger.
Today i took my dog here in an ER situation (he was just hit by a car) and the staff was not compassionate or caring for our situation. They wouldn’t help my dog unless i had the means right then and there to pay a “guesstimate” amount of $1,000!! I of course was hoping to get by with a portion of that today and worry about the rest after the care was complete. Recommendedi recommend if you have a suffering pet with fluid on the lungs afterhours they can be of no help to your pet if they havent been seen in two years. forget the facts that you have been there for 20 years with 6 dogs 2 cats. consistently that doesn't matter to them. its policy. so unless their recieving your money they will not put your pet down at 3 am. i guess the $300-600. they recieve for emergency is not enough!! i think thats inhumane for our animals loving vets to accept as policy. if you have a ageing pet dont miss tw... read more

I would never take a pet here. My son has taken his 2 dogs there for shots 2 weeks ago and they have both gotten sick. They only care about $. My son is paying for office visits on top of the visits for shots just to get his animals better and the vet could care less
My cat died about a year ago; I let JRAH know the day it happened so I could be removed from any mailing lists they have to avoid being reminded. I've been receiving emails and postcards ever since despite asking to be removed a few times. Thank you for reminding me every few months that my cat is still dead.
First of all, I would like to say that Dr. Rigsby and staff did a wonderful job with my kitty. I brought him in on a Sunday with a urinary blockage that needed treated immediately with a catheter. Dr Rigsby came in right away and saw us within a half hour of me calling their emergency number. I gave this 3 star rating because of the cost of the treatment. They told us the cost up front was going to be $1600. I asked if there was any kind of payment plan and I was told there wasn't. I had never had a urinary cath done before... read more
