Not happy with the chicken lettuce wrap Expected it to be similar to Cactus Club

The food was great, but the surrounding dirty tables and general lack of customer service made for a somewhat unpleasant dining experience. While our server was friendly, he seemed to be spread thin waiting on many other tables. There were a few hostesses congregating at the front entrance and what looked like a couple managers on the floor in a corner booth. Way too noisy the music was way too loud couldn’t have a conversation. Service was not the best waitress did ok but never got a refill on our drink only came over eventually to take our order and to give the bill. The table beside us a mother and daughter sat there forever before their order was taken. Seemed my daughter’s peach balleni took forever. Not sure when or if we will return had way better service and ambience at cactus club

Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. We waited quite awhile to be seated and theee was a crowd in the doorway it seemed like there was some kind of hold up with the staff. We ordered wine and steaks on half price wine night. Our water wasn’t ever refilled, we refilled our own wine glasses and when the bill came the wine was full price. Our server sat us outside, there was about 20 empty tables. We got sat in a corner by the parking lot which was fine but not the nicest choice available, another group came in right after us and oddly was sat directly beside us despite there being multiple other tables available which would have provided reasonable space and privacy, but we had to listen to each others conversations as we were so close together. The food has gone extremely downhill at Joeys, the portions are smaller, the protein size specifically. Overpriced... read more

Joeys used to be our favourite place to go. Unfortunately the joeys today is very different. It felt like they were short staffed and unorganized. Our free champers for waiting at the door never happened till we asked for it 10 minutes after being seated. Our Diet Coke order only showed up at the table after an hour and the arrival of the food. Just as sat down in lounge area the lighting was lowered and the DJ started, it was to dark and music was just a bit to loud. Eventually went moved to the patio

Can’t believe this dinner experience we had. Service was so bad. Servers can’t do their job the way other restaurants take care of patrons. Bartenders drinking while on shift, managers opening wine bottle for servers because they don’t know how, can’t bring simple water to the table, cutlery, napkins …had to ask for this every time. We were watching servers and managers standing around in large group while line up of people were waiting to get checked in. Alexandra was our server. Very friendly. Great service. However the sushi was way below average at best. $20 ??? I could have eaten at Takis sushi for half the price and it would have been wayyyy better
