I had a truly disappointing experience at Joey Polo Park. I arrived after flying in from a week of meetings across Western Canada, and due to WestJet delays, I didn’t have time to change out of my hoodie and joggers before meeting clients. Unfortunately, it seemed my casual travel clothes influenced the way I was treated. The host who seated us was a bit unfriendly and when we asked to switch from a table to a booth she didn’t say much besides okay & then didn’t return. We switched over by ourselves once the booth was cleaned and set. She didn’t notify our sever and we waited more than 15 minutes before anyone greeted us and got us water. Once our server finally found out he ran into the kitchen and returned a few minutes later & was pleasant and very good with the service.
Portion of food was much less than last few visits, steak was okay, Unfortunately ordered extra as I was left still hungry. Maybe you've had some menu changes not entirely sure. I will be back, but I will ask and request more details to the menu before ordering. They recentlychanged their menu and no longer have sliders. they have something else that sort of replaces it but still think they should’ve kept the sliders on their menu.
Sunroom rocks the house!!! Food is great but seems over priced.
Food was ok but my steak was cold, I was never checked in on until the last few bites of my meal.
We are on the patio and there are a lot of flies and wasps.
You know longer serve “sliders” which is what we had come for! Very disappointing. There was nothing else on the menu that was suitable for my guest. She had garlic toast. I ordered crispy mashed potatoes and chili chicken. The crispy mashed potatoes were very good and up to the standard I have come to expect at Joeys. The chips in the chili chicken were stale. Food was subpar. Pita for hummus, half were crispy and half were limp. Same as the fries that came with the fish tacos. Also, one of the fish tacos tasted fishy but the other one was ok. Prawn lettuce wraps were good though. Hostess was seemed checked out and uninterested in being there. Had to ask server for welcome drink after we were seated.
