About this business

Like most of JOEY management, CEO Jeff Fuller started his remarkable journey flipping burgers, washing dishes and sweeping floors. It’s called paying your dues, learning from the ground up and understanding what success takes. “If there’s a secret,” he says, “it’s hard work, unwavering commitment to the customer and assembling the very best people.” Jeff absorbed valuable lessons from his family’s successful businesses before striking out on his own with a brand new concept in upscale casual restaurants. Definitely not great. Wednesday night at 10pm the restaurant was less than half full but they were so understaffed that I kept my hand raised more than two minutes to ask for more water, coffee refill, steak sauce (7oz medium rare ended up being 5oz medium well with overcooked dry, dry outer ring,) and more ketchup. They are “price gauging, IE hosing”The University Concert series partrons. Last week it was $7.75 for a beer, and now it it $9.50. This will cause me to stop attending the concert series. VERY dissatisfied. I will tell everyone that I know to not visit Joey kitchen. MDG

They do not take same-day reservations. Put our name in for an inside table at 5:00 pm on a Friday and it was an hour wait. Atmosphere is great, especially the atrium. Hostesses and wait staff were very good. Food was sub-par and very over-priced. We expected very good food for the price but were very disappointed. I've had a better burger and french dip at fast-food restaurants. Will stick with Eureka in the future.

Waitress told me immediately that they couldn't make a Mai Tai, which is a famous totally easy drink to make, the food was average and TOTALLY OVERPRICED. Not at all the great experience we were expecting. :(

Great service and most dishes are still very good. Their burgers haven’t gotten so small it’s like eating a vegetable sandwich. After being a customer 13 year it’s time for my husband and I to find a new fav
