I have been to Joey's kitchen several times and I go simply for the Ahi Tuna Salad which is pretty good. Overall the food came pretty fast. However, for a simple little burger and lousy fries it is pretty expensive. My main complaint is that the service is TERRIBLE. The host was nice but the waitress was horrible. She kept trying to push us to buy drinks and upgrade things etc. Very attentive at trying to get us to buy things but not about the actual experience of the meal. It was later in the evening, maybe 9:30. There were many tables full, but not crowded. People were still coming in. We were seated out of order, but not being busy, we didn't think it was an issue. Once seated, I asked that we could be re-seated next to a table that had working heaters. No problem. After getting our menus, we didn't get table service for easily 10 minutes. The place was loud. The service sucked. Every wine I ordered was not available. Food? Think of a very mediocre Olive Garden. Never go here if can help it.

Joeys is great. The food is always very good but it is way too expensive for the portion size.

Our first trip to Joey will be our last. The food was just okay for taste, but overpriced for the quality. I ordered the Joey Kitchen Steak to be prepared medium. It was delivered well-done. When I asked it to be corrected, I was *not* given the steak I had originally ordered, but a smaller 7 oz. steak that took over 30 minutes to be cooked and was served to me a full 20 minutes after my family was done eating their entire meals. The service was pretty lackluster considering how much the dinner cost (over $100 a person). We were asked about drinks one time while having dinner. We asked for a box and simply did not get it. We were promised something for my friend's birthday and did not get it. I don't even really care that there was no cake but don't promise something and then just forget about us. The food was good but everything was overpriced.
