RecommendedI really enjoyed the zoo. It is smaller than most, but it really has an excellent place for what we were able to see and do as well as the price for admission.

RecommendedGreat zoo. It could definitely use some upgrades but I can only imagine how little funds they get being in Grand Rapids. As much as I feel the extra activities that require a fee are on the more expensive side, I can totally understand why they charge so much.They NEED more funding! I'm glad to see they have upgraded a lot of the bigger animal's enclosures since I was a kid. I wish I knew more about specific animal's behavior to know for sure if the animals seem happy and healthy. Overall it's a friendly and safe atmosphere... read more
RecommendedExcellent day to see the animals. Everything was well-kept and clean. Also, one of their workers (don't remember the name) spent some time with us and told us some really interesting facts about the animals. She was awesome and she took the time to answer our questions.
