Johnson did all my flooring on the main level. The tile in the kitchen experienced an issue as well as the flooring in the hallway. They did nothing to fix any of the problems. I’ve had 2 other companies look at the problem and both told me they were poor installation work by Johnson! I would never use them again or recommend! They do not stand by their workmanship!
I would never hire this company again. Tom Johnson took no blame for floors being installed improperly. He walked away. I've had 2 contractors tell me that the tile and hardwood were done incorrectly. I would never pay this man a dime to do anything again. Buyers beware!
July 3, 2018 I am writing this review out of sheer frustration. I hope, for those who read this will be discouraged from doing business with a company who damages their property and refuses to pay for the damage that they caused. On April 14, 2018, I paid Johnson and Sons flooring 1,308.00 for carpet and to install the carpet on two sets of stairs. they do not return phone calls at all!! Waste of time dealing with them. I would never recommend them to anyone.
We went with this company cause of all the great reviews. But unfortunately ours was not a great experience. #1 they will not return my phone calls. I have tried for days - no call to say they are coming to install that day. Eric the installer [subcontractor] calls and says he is on his way. Then can't install the floor since it's not level enough. #2 Now they say it can't be installed under cabinets when you go to the website for this flooring it says you can glue it down. This company installed carpet, hardwood and tile in the great room, dining room, kitchen and bathrooms. The wood floors buckled within 2 months of our home being built, the tile guy cut through the bedroom wall adjoining the bath, and the master bedroom carpeting needs to be stretched, badly. I had several things that came up like not getting carpet on time, no one returning several messages I left and then not showing up when scheduled to come out to install the carpet. When I went to the store to see why no one had shown up as scheduled, Becky was very helpful. She made several calls and found Nathan who was wonderful to come install it. I am happy to see so many great reviews for a local business. We had all our flooring replaced last summer and we love the product. Still looks brand new after a year. However our experience was not as smooth as most it seems, we must have caught them at a bad time. It took about 2 months off and on to get our floors (small condo) done and our bed was damaged which was never fixed. I decided to quit calling and we fixed it ourselves. Very dissapointing, they clearly do not have enough staff to service the orders. We paid in full and still do not have even, well laid tile in our kitchen after 3 frustraiting months and more emails and calls than any customer should have to endure. The tile scheduler admitted he doesnt know how long each job takes and therefore double booked us in month one on initial install and then again on month 3 for repairs from rushed work.
