I am an older female who often has A LOT of anxiety. I have been a patient of Dr. Hegarty for over 4 years. He has ALWAYS taken the time to explain what is going on with my back and completely explains what my treatment options are. He is not the first pain management specialist I’ve seen, but he is definitely the best.
He is very informative about the medicine...what to expect, the pros and cons. Cares about the patient and their well being.
Excellent & very knowledgeable & compassionate . Also Step by step explained exactly what was causing my problems & painAnswered my questions and also gave me additional knowledge of what I should do to help avoid pain

Dr. Hegarty is very compassionate. He listens quietly and then tells you what needs to be done to decrease the pain. He's professional, very knowledgeable about the body and pain. He explains everything well enough to be understood. The people of Savannah are so very blessed to have Dr. Hegarty.
Dr. Hegarty is very caring when it comes to his patients health. I need surgery and I don't have a primary care provider, but Dr. Hegarty told me to go to the urgent care center and let them do a checkup and get my clearance in a timely manner. He does all he can to help his patients .

I had a lot of questions to ask the doctor on this visit and Dr. Hegarty was very thorough and patient with me. He always looks out for his patient's needs and he's proactive with his treatment regimen. Highly recommend!
