From initial consult to after surgery visits, Dr. Gershtenson and his entire team (Nick, Nyssa, etc..) were both friendly and professional. I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything and provide follow-up. It felt like we were a team. Dr. Gershtenson is personable and considerate. Doctor Gershtenson is the kind of doctor that people need. He tells you the way it is, tells you how recommendations and/or advice but most importantly, he listens to your ideas, input and requests and if he feels it's a good option, he will go that route, even if it's not the initial route he was thinking of taking. If he feels it's not a good option, he will tell you why. I've never had a doctor listen to me and actually take into consideration what I'm telling them. I highly recommend Dr. Gershtenson. He's an outstanding surgeon but always suggests alternate options if surgery can be delayed or avoided. He is extremely easy going and personable, providing personal attention to each patient. His staff loves working with him and his entire team is excellent.
He listen and makes you feel comfortable . Best hand and shoulder Dr Around . I wouldn’t want anyone else to do surgery on my hands and shoulders . I go to him regularly for injections in my shoulders which help me immensely. I would highly recommend Dr G . He’s 10 Stars in book . Great ,great Dr. The staff is great also .
I like that Doctor Gershtenson talked to me like an equal and not like he's above me. He speaks using normal words, not the typical "look, I'm a doctor and I can use big words to sound important!". He's a normal guy that doesn't look down on his patients. It feels like he actually appreciates me as a patient.
Dr G was great. He listens, and attends to your needs.
I highly recommend Comprehensive Orthopedics. I had major hand surgery and Dr. Gershtenson was phenomenal! From pre to post-surgery, Dr. Gershtenson, Nick, Nyssa and the rest of the staff were awesome. Had a question? They answered it. Had a concern? They cared for it. Had a request? They took care of it. If I have to have more surgery, I hope to be able to go to them again!
