Ambiance,cleanliness, quality of food, ease of special requests, and the charismatic yet humble manner that Tara cared for my family while multi tasking other duties was exceptional. This place has it all. We were greeted & seated right right away. All the food was excellent! The French toast with fruits is awesome and you can share. The server & manager have superb customer service skills. They both kept coming to the table to make sure we were ok. One of the best restaurants i have been! Hope they keep it up. I will definitely come back when I am in Sarasota
These pancakes though. My sweet goodness. Ever since I found out I can have pancakes, I've been on an absolute warpath through pancakes. The chocolate chip ones here however, are the best I've had. This place has a phenomenal menu full of choices that would appeal to the masses. Fantastic breakfast and service. The breakfast potatoes are perfect, omelettes are thin and long and not overly eggy, even toast is nicely buttered! Food comes out hot and well prepared. Staff is very pleasant and manager always comes around to chat and remembers us. Always will go here!
Clean & welcoming restaurant! Noticed there must be a lot of "regulars" as different servers passed by a variety of tables saying Hello to customers. Fluffy pancakes, and the combo was a great deal! Food nice and hot. Huge menu so we can't wait to go back and try again.
Without a doubt one of the best breakfast places in the area. Keke's has a very abundant menu choice and very good coffee. Extremely friendly staff which just adds to your dining experience. We go there 2-3 times a week and have never had a bad experience. Very clean and up to date facility.
Very good overall experience! They're a bit nickel-n-dimey on their waffles and toppings, but it was very good. Surprisingly the coffee was good too. Nothing fancy here, but good food and. Good coffee. I wished they had biscuits, but that was only because I was kind of craving them that morning. Lol You'll enjoy it, if you're on a budget just remember the waffle combos wind up paying for toppings individually where as the waffle menu prices include the toppings. We'll definitely be going back again.
You def get what you pay for here. They have a gigantic menu with plenty of both Breakfast and Lunch options. My favorite thing here is the breakfast combos: pancakes, french toast or waffles with 2 sides for under $10. You can upgrade to a speciality pancake or stuffed french toast for a bit more. There is definitely no shortage of breakfast/lunch places in the Lakewood Ranch/University area however, Keke's is a fresh new place that I feel like will be here to stay. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are massive. The servers are always nice and pleasant and will accommodate any special requests you may have with a smile.
