Server was a little off putting but the restaurant is clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back again or recommend this spot to a friend.
Food: Extremely limited selection for vegans. I had dry white toast with a side tomato. No dairy-free milks or nondairy creamer, so vegans can have black coffee or none at all (not having a dairy-free milk was shocking since 75% of the world's population is lactose intolerant and alternative milks are sold at every breakfast place I've visited before). I've been to the Keke's in Orlando many times and was excited about the new Sarasota location. The portions here are a reasonable size and prices are in the same range as many local Sarasota breakfast cafes. Our waitress wasn't friendly and she only checked on us once during our meal. A bit pricey but great portion sizes. I just love the potatoes. And the service was good as well. I had the mushroom & cheese omelet. I could eat there for breakfast every day they have such a variety.
Kekes was so good! My boyfriend and I stopped into this location and we were taken back by the size of this breakfast place. It was huge! We were greeted immediately by two hostess and sat almost immediately as well. They were so nice and asked how we were doing and if we were from out of town. Best breakfast I had in a while. The create your own omelette was delicious. The Apple cinnamon waffle was mouth watering. All the ingredients are fresh and made to order. Keke's is a one of a kind local secret. If you are visiting Sarasota make this your first stop for breakfast!!!
Stopped in on our Saturday morning run to home depot(in the same shopping center). It is very clean and everyone is super friendly. Food came out quick and was very good. They have all the usual breakfast foods....except biscuits and gravy! We will definitely be back and will request Tracy again. You should too! She's super nice, knowledgeable and kept the coffee and tea topped off(without being pushy about it!)
Incredible find! Delicious food and great service. We will be back. We had stuffed blueberry French toast, apple cinnamon stuffed f.t., waffle, and an portobello omelet. Good coffee too. Yum!
