What !!!!! Extremely overrated and overpriced !!!!!! 30.00 for o e person is insane!!!!! Potatoes were horrible i belive they are pre-made and came out of a bag that they just heated up.... Big thumbs down ....horrible....maybe better if potatoes are actually home fry cut ....instead of scallops potatoes slices........ I had yet another terrible experience with the manager at this University Parkway location. He is the most unfriendly, rude, and uncaring restaurant manager I have ever encountered and I will never go back at that location due to him. The way he handled a couple of issues is completely unacceptable and inexcusable. Will visit the SR 70 locations.
Had brunch here on Saturday afternoon. Felicia provided us with great service. I ordered the western omlette and my wife ordered the eggs benedict and asked Felicia to have the eggs medium. She said that is the way they are cooked. The eggs benedict were undercooked and she sent them back. It was quite a while when she got them back and now they were overcooked. My omelette was very thin like it was pressed down with an iron. The potatoes were incredibly tasty and the best part of our brunch. We will not be going back.
We went in today with my elderly mother that can not eat large portions. She wanted a half of a waffle and they would not accomodate her. We even had the manager come out and they refused. They do not offer a senior menu and would not let her order off of the children's menu. So basically they wanted her to pay full price for something that she was going to eat half of, since a waffle isn't any good reheated it would have just been a waste. Very disappointing that they don't value customer service at KEKEs

Very poor atmosphere and the food was very average for Sarasota. Way too many other great places to go. First and last visit.

This place was busy so they must be doing something right however, in my opinion, the food was mediocre for the price and the service was very inconsistent. I typically order eggs Benedict anytime I try a new restaurant that I've never been a few before because if they can get that typically they're pretty good. Well not horrible. English muffin was barely toasted so it was even difficult to cut. My drink ran out and was never refilled or checked on for 15 minutes. for a place. service was amazing but manager Savannah would not come out of the kitchen to speak with me regarding the morale of her staff. If you don't have good leadership what do you expect from your employees. I have been coming to this Kekes for a year or so and the staff has changed tremendously. The turnover rate is ridiculous. Savannah had my server in tears because she was attempting to get another tables meal correct. This is unacceptable as a leader. What a horrible experience here. It was our very first time here. The service was terrible, they don't have ages on the kid menu but refuse to let 9 year olds order from the kids menu after 20 minutes of letting us decide what we wanted to order, she didn't even ask me how old my child was, she just assumed her age and said we couldn't order from the kids menu despite no age limit on the menu. after that the whole experience was awkward, the bussers just stare and watch you eat. I like the food, the service is very good, but I feel like I am being nickeled and dimed. $3.79 for ice tea? The kicker though is bacon and eggs did not come with toast. I've been eating bacon and eggs for 50 years and never heard of that. Of course I was told I could pay up or trade my bacon for toast...there are many other breakfast options in the area.
