This place is great. We started eating here when my son was at university in Orlando and we are thrilled they are in Sarasota. Go early Sunday for little or no wait but watch out if you get there after churches let out you are in for a wait but it's worth it. We love the omelets and French toast! Really excited about getting one South Sarasota soon too.
Super delish! I had French toast and my husband had banana chocolate chip pancakes! Service was incredible!! Well worth the Sunday morning wait.
We went in today with my elderly mother that can not eat large portions. She wanted a half of a waffle and they would not accomodate her. We even had the manager come out and they refused. They do not offer a senior menu and would not let her order off of the children's menu. So basically they wanted her to pay full price for something that she was going to eat half of, since a waffle isn't any good reheated it would have just been a waste. Very disappointing that they don't value customer service at KEKEs

Very poor atmosphere and the food was very average for Sarasota. Way too many other great places to go. First and last visit.

This place was busy so they must be doing something right however, in my opinion, the food was mediocre for the price and the service was very inconsistent. I typically order eggs Benedict anytime I try a new restaurant that I've never been a few before because if they can get that typically they're pretty good. Well not horrible. English muffin was barely toasted so it was even difficult to cut. My drink ran out and was never refilled or checked on for 15 minutes. for a place. service was amazing but manager Savannah would not come out of the kitchen to speak with me regarding the morale of her staff. If you don't have good leadership what do you expect from your employees. I have been coming to this Kekes for a year or so and the staff has changed tremendously. The turnover rate is ridiculous. Savannah had my server in tears because she was attempting to get another tables meal correct. This is unacceptable as a leader. What a horrible experience here. It was our very first time here. The service was terrible, they don't have ages on the kid menu but refuse to let 9 year olds order from the kids menu after 20 minutes of letting us decide what we wanted to order, she didn't even ask me how old my child was, she just assumed her age and said we couldn't order from the kids menu despite no age limit on the menu. after that the whole experience was awkward, the bussers just stare and watch you eat. I like the food, the service is very good, but I feel like I am being nickeled and dimed. $3.79 for ice tea? The kicker though is bacon and eggs did not come with toast. I've been eating bacon and eggs for 50 years and never heard of that. Of course I was told I could pay up or trade my bacon for toast...there are many other breakfast options in the area.
Another breakfast place that preys on people on a diet. 15 bucks for some egg whites and toast. I would have just gone with regular eggs but if I did that then I would have to eat a breakfast with no protein. Ofcourse they offer to sell me a side of bacon for 5 dollars. I couldn't imagine being a breakfast restaurant and not offering a plate of eggs and bacon and toast. I'll eat today because I'm in a hurry but won't be back.
