Food really good service excellent But coffee to weak for my taste
I've visited Keke's several times and would normally rate it 4 stars or higher. However, my most recent visit was completely disappointing. Service and food quality were well below expectations based on previous visits. We waited an extremely long time for our food, especially considering the time of day and amount of customers in the restaurant. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, even the wait wasn't too long. The food to me wasn't as great as I was hoping. The pancakes were huge but Cracker Barrel, even McDonald's pancakes, are better. Also, most breakfast places provide with pancakes some sides. No sides here, they are extra.
The service has always been up to par. But the menu is ridiculously overpriced. I paid $4.50 for a ala carte piece of French toast. Which I believe is robbery.
Food is okay, service is okay, PRICES are okay. Overall is OKAY.
I had stuffed French toast for $8.49. Out came a joke. It was the same price as my friends meals, which were huge. Mine was two pieces of toast with filling on a small rectangular plate with nothing else. If it would have been $4 or $5, I wouldn't have said anything. When I talked to the manager, he said that's just how it is and shrugged his shoulders.
