We had been using a very good lender that we'd used for our last house, but I was looking for better terms due to that lender disclosing well into the process higher than expected underwriting and processing fees, a slightly higher rate than I wanted, and the need to pay points to keep a good rate -- and we were just 15 days from closing! I called MOM just to inquire if it was possible to change lenders, and Kim said they could do it. I worked with Kim Shuey on the mortgage for my first home, and she was the best! Kim was highly responsive, and she always went above and beyond to help me quickly get approved and closed.
