don't move there These are the worst apartments ever. It was good when it was bt&a. When krc took over everything went down hill. My water per broke on Dec 14 and it is now April still not fixed. Every pine has broke in my apartment. They change management like every 5 months. They have roaches in the hallways. People running down the hall all hours of the night. And don't even think about nothing getting fixed it won't happen
Horrible Management. May look nice and be in a good location, but underneath is a different story. I've leaved here for almost 2 years and I'm ready to move out. When I moved in they promised that maintenance issues PRIOR to moving in would be handled and after 19 months they STILL have not. My deck door was falling off before I moved in and still is, handles falling off, no hot water or it stinks, leaking fossets, flooding parking lot, and broken toilets. Run, don't rent here! The worst; my kid lives at McKnight Village /St Paul recently acquired by KRC. The staff is rude & incompetent . Maintenance is a joke. Apartments are run down, the halls are always dirty. Lot's of dust, cobwebs, spiders, mice, silverfish. There is never hot water to shower or run the dishwasher. Complaint after complaint & these shyster 's stay in business!?! Constant dumpster diver's don't throw out any personal info in the recycling bins. Kleinman realty (All thumbs are down! 3513 DuPont ave s. BT&A own this property and recently contracted the managing to Kleinman realy. Instead of saying all the good( have not anything good about them at all)all the bad I can say good luck!!! Me personal opinion would be DONT also there's too many negative comments that are best kept to myself. I just cannot not seem to see how a company can do good with the lack of business and personal skills.

Horrible experience!!! THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. i lived in the 2057 laurel ave apartments for about 3 years and they took over for the last year. First off they were so rude and awful to me when i told them i wanted to move out. Julie Blaha in the office made me cry and made my move out process hell. I was on a month to month rent and they barely tried to find a new tenant so i wouldnt have to pay and i ended up having to pay for 70 days after i gave notice. DO NOT RENT (940 Franklin Terr) 1) Their garden level apartments at 940 Franklin Terrace get robbed multiple times a year. Do not believe Mary when she tells you its been years. Weeks, if the residents are lucky. 2) The Emergency Maintenance line will never be answered, and your emergency will take weeks, if not months, to be completed. 3) You will receive weekly memos under your door concerning new rules, and make you feel like your apartment is not your home. 4) You cannot give your 2-month notice between October-November.... read more
Sad turn of events Kleinman took over managing the property that I've lived at for over 10 years. The previous management wasn't great but they did call me back when I needed something. Recently, my water was out for 2 days over a weekend. I used the emergency pager no less than 7 times and no one called me back, then I left voicemails and no one called me back. Watch out I lived at Shepard Terrace (a Kleinman Realty apartment complex) for about 6 months. It was an ok place to live, it wasnt too expensive and everyone there was friendly. The crime in the area was very low and I lived in a safe environment. There was one problem though.
