We didn't originally plan to stop at La La Land during our visit to The Grove, but after noticing the line had shrunk from earlier, we decided to hop in. When we first arrived, there was a long line outside and we weren't sure why--until we later learned that social media foodie Keith Lee had a special drink available, with all proceeds going to flood relief efforts in Kerr County, TX. I have a new found appreciation for these baristas on a Saturday night. A brunette with glasses and two blondes were working their butts off before they closed. I waited about 10 minutes in line despite the line being out the door. The cashier was kind and offered suggestions as I did not know what kind of drink I wanted, truly a kind soul. I waited for my drinks outside as they had a crowd by where you pick your drinks up and many people asking for things as well as uber drivers picking up orders. I have tried both their matcha and coffee drinks, and they're both great! The only downside is that you might have to wait in a long line during the weekends, although the line does move quickly. The drinks are worth it. I hope they can find a more efficient way to handle drink preparation and serving. It was a bit frustrating when a group that ordered after me received their drinks first. I only had two drinks.

All my friends know, I have a matcha addiction. So after brunch, my friend suggested we try the hyped La La Land for matcha. It's so aesthetic and the drinks are good! So the shop is so cute! Like I'm obsessed with the butter yellow merch and drinks. It's so minimalistic, LA vibey, aesthetic. This is the hot spot right now, so it's super busy! Long lines and kind of a long wait time. The iced coffee I ordered and received is 5-stars, no doubt. Probably the best I've had from any coffee/tea shop around and I have been to a lot of different shops for decades. Where I remove one star is the long lines and longer wait times to receive your order. I got halfway through the line and ended up having to sit down outside, because it was extremely hot and feeling flush. Love LaLaLand. The coffee tastes rich and deep, the espresso beans perfectly roasted. I love getting an iced latte with the cloud foam on top. The vibes are immaculate and the place is just a pleasure to be at to catch up with a friend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lines are INSANE. Worth the wait, but still hard, especially if you have a baby in tow.

The workers here are so nice. It can be really busy but they really take their time making the drinks. I love this location it's so relaxing.
