Brunch menu July 2023 New spot in the neighborhood, read good reviews about the food and that they were having some service issues (which is understandable for new spots). Disappointed that their signature pasta dishes that were supposed to be tossed table-side in the cheese wheel were tossed on the other side of the restaurant, impossible for us to see. And then the pasta came served in a plastic bowl. Not what I expected for $38 pasta.
So disappointed! We were so excited to have a new restaurant in bay park but this was truly a horrible experience. Worse than the previous farmers table… which is saying something. While the restaurant itself is beautiful, the floors were dirty, the table was sticky and the food was atrocious. It is a new restaurant with ok food but bad service. Waitresses had no idea of who ordered what- twice a guy brought plates asking if those were what we ordered. When we said no, he continue to take them to other tables until he found who had ordered it. The food is ok for the price point, nothing out of this world. There have been a few reviews pointing out the bad service. It took over 10 mins to get water, 20 mins to get bread, 30 mins to get a drink. The food is good but over priced. Barely had any truffles on the pasta my wife ordered.
Was excited to try this as I thought it was a new concept. Found out it is the same owner as Farmer’s Table and just rebranded as a new Italian place. Pasta was edible. Drinks were fine. The worst pizza I’ve ever had. Dough was undercooked and chewy. This was the same issue Farmer’s Table had. I’m a local and used to go to Farmer’s Table regularly.
