Perfect location at reasonable price, but a bit rough. The hotel is cramped and dingy. Location is exceptional, on a street of brownstones instead of an urban canyon. Adjacent to Central Park and great dining options on Columbus street.
For its location and facilities and price it was a good place to stay and I would recommend it We could have used some hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel, there was only one, and a couple of hooks in the bedroom would have been nice as the storage space is really small. The ac/heater was a window unit and when the ac was on it was very loud...it would also shut on and off a lot so there was erratic noise vs. static noise which caused us to wake up several times a night. this hotel was in a great location, clean and efficient for a fair price one small elevator had me walking stairs more than riding location. very close to Central Park in a nice neighborhood.

Great location and good value for a Manhattan hotel The staff was very friendly and professional. The location is excellent (a 2 minute walk to central park and right in the heart of the upper weat side) and it is very reasonably priced. We stayed for one night and it was perfect. We were on the top floor and had a lovely view of the park. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable enough for a one night stay.
Would definitely come back! Tiny room, but well - that’s new york Amazing staff, especially the Spanish speaking guy at the reception. He gave incredible service. Location is also superb. Nice breakfast.
