Not as nice as it appeared The hotel would be much better described as a motel. The property felt very old and dated and I felt that the pictures weren't a great representation. I would have spent an extra little bit to stay somewhere fancier. The location was convenient. Very close to sixth street and walkable. The front desk staff was friendly and always present. The breakfast was decent. Nothing fancy but the waffles were great and it was well-stocked.

Exceptional We have stayed 2 times when we go to Austin and will always book here! What really got us was how nice and welcoming the staff is. Great location as well. We are able walk to the capital and from there get on scooters and ride around downtown. Again, I really how great the staff is! Have never been to a hotel with multiple friendly employees.
