A fatigued hotel in the heart of the city that beat our expectations. This is an older hotel and it is showing its age. The staff is doing an excellent job but the property itself is rundown. I gave a low score for value only because we were there for UT graduation weekend. Rates are increased all across Austin about 300%. Normally this would be a great value for the usual price. very pleasant for a shorty stay. The room is run down a bit, needs a new carpet and less mold around the windows.. The location is excellent, but the room needs some renovations. Breakfast was good.
