Check in process was a bit annoying. Front desk gave us a room that was assigned to someone who was staying in that room and when addressed the issue at the desk young lady admitted she made the error of assigning us to the wrong room. Elevator had a horrible smell throughout our stay.
Upon arrival at 3pm, we could not check in and had to wait 20 minutes to do so. Once check in everything else was fine. Breakfast was limited but decent. Area is okay, kind of a sketchy area upon arrival but not far from dining spots and shops.
We stayed for a couple days. The poor hot tub was green, and they didnt keep towels in the pool area. Not all staff, but a certain morning lady was SUPER rude to my son for asking for towels, after I had previously asked 20 minutes before, and she asked me to wait 10 minutes. It's sad when a hotel doesn't do the job they're being paid to do, and make the PAYING CUSTOMERS have to deal with their crap attitudes. We did have an awesome guy we got to deal with at times though so that helped.
The light bulb was out in one of the lamps in our room. When we mentioned this to the desk staff, she opened a drawer and looked in and shrugged her shoulders and said they didn't have any more. They would mention it to their maintenance man. We never got a light bulb.
We happened to be caught in the ice storm of early Feb. The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and encouraging for the 3 days we were delayed. The cleaning staff, breakfast staff and Brenda at the front desk were all exceptional.
Upon check in we were told 5 of us adults should sleep in 2 beds. I called and confirmed 3 beds. Had to pay for another room unnecessarily. Not happy about that. Hotel not very accommodating
For the price I was not expecting much but this property was clean, quiet, and met my needs. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and would gladly stay here again on future trips. My only complaint is that there was not a list for the tv channels and the channels were set up weird so made it difficult to find cartoons for my kids. Obviously not a huge deal but just a suggestion.
