Nice hotel but not many restaurants near by. Location: Not much in the area . We booked this because of the usual La Quinta Inn standard. The hotel wasn't near many restaurants so we had to drive out to find some. Otherwise nice.
Great location for overnight stops Pros: Close proximity to great restaurants and shopping. Cons: New carpets, paint, and outside building repair. Location: Great restaurants such as Jose Tejas and Houlihans. There is the Willowbrook mall near by, Target, and other shopping centers. Selected this hotel as a stop over n my way to the Poconos. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The building is a bit outdated and the view from the outside caused some concern, but the rooms were very nice and comfortable.
Pros: LOCATION IS VERY CONVENIENCE AND EASY TO FIND. Cons: ITS NOT CLEAN IN LOBBY AND BREAKFAST AREA. Location: SHOPPING MALL ACROSS STREET.
Hotel was set back from road, my side entrance seemed isolated & not visible to others. Room was on the first floor & was heavily deodorized to mask something. I know this town floods in areas, & it made me wonder. Overall hallways seemed dark and dreary. Very empty during my stay. Room was large, but bathroom was small & needed updating. View of courtyard was depressing, & lacked privacy from other rooms. Would not be a repeated stay for me.
Pros: pool, location Location: near a shopping mall and easy to find food service and shopping. overall I am satisfied with the hotel service and staff.
Access to Hotel We were very tired from a long day and was checking in very late, was given directions to the door closest to our room, on the way, the police blocked access while searching a car. We went around the other side of the building. When attempting to enter the hotel from the assigned door, it did not work. Had to drive back to the front.
